  • Literature and book reviews are not refereed anonymously. The only person who will read and comment on your review is the Literature Review Editor who commissioned you to write it originally.

ScholarOne submission

When submitting your book review in ScholarOne <https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rtxg> , you are asked for a Title and and Abstract. You can give your review a title that reflects the content of the review, as separate from the book itself.  For the Abstract, please use the format in this example:

  • Your Title: anything that you think is appropriate
  • Your Abstract could be: A review of "Tourism, Geography and Place" by John Smith and Jane Smith
  • Do not include a biographical note - we do not publish those with book reviews
Format Notes:
  1. All fonts must be standard (12 point) Times New Roman on A4 or Letter size paper.
  2. "Left Justify" your paragraphs -- do not use full justification. (Left justification is easier for reviewers to read.
  3. Do not use single line spacing for the abstract and body of the text. The preferred line spacing is 1.5. Double lines spacing (2.0) is acceptable.
  4. Use standard 1 inch margins (or the approximate equivalent in cm).
  5. The preferred file format is MS Word. Do not submit .PDF files, unless you have no other option.
